Growing up in Brighton, Tim was immersed in arts, music, and culture from a young age. He pursued creative subjects from A-levels through to an art foundation course. Eventually studying Graphic Design at Kingston University London, where he graduated in 2010. Having gained invaluable experience at industry-leading design studios and advertising agencies, Tim has worked as a freelance designer in both London and Amsterdam.
It was only after the passing of Tim’s mother, just before the pandemic and subsequent lockdown that Tim was forced to reconsider how he expressed himself creatively. Posca pens and paper became a form of mindfulness. This is now a cornerstone of his work, and of Sanders de Roeper.

Becoming parents has been the biggest inspiration behind our brand. We feel it’s essential to nurture our kids to celebrate who they are, be expressive, and live their own unique lives with conviction. We aim to encourage resilience, helping them navigate tough times with greater ease. Ultimately, we want this for everyone, becoming part of a broader movement where self-love is championed as it should be.
